SEOUL, Aug 25 - The South Korean won fell about one-third of a percent to its weakest in nearly four years against the dollar early on Monday on persistent credit worries and foreign selling in the country's stock markets.
The won <KRW=> was quoted as low as 1,066.4 per dollar soon after local trade started, its weakest since touching 1,068.8 on Dec. 13, 2004. It was down from Friday's local close <KRW=KFTC> of 1,062.5.
